It is with some degree of excitement that I’ve found myself accepted as a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). The WPJA is a highly respected international organisation that sets strict parameters for gaining membership and demands adherence to a strong code of practice for maintenance of that membership. At the time of writing I’m feeling as much humble as I am proud to be one of just 76 listed members based in England (a further 5 are listed in Wales, 9 in Scotland and 4 in Northern Ireland). I very much put it down to my clients and their faith in my approach to wedding photography that I have been allowed to develop a body of work that might secure me membership of such an organisation, and I look forward to serving many more such clients as a result! :~)
