It’s always a good party that starts or indeed ends with a bang and Bournemouth entrepreneur and bon vivant Tim Sanders celebrated his 40th birthday in a befitting manner this weekend with a small scale sneak preview of Bournemouth’s forthcoming world record attempt to launch 110,000 fireworks in less than 60 seconds.
Tim, founder and owner of local tour company Discover Dorset, is a key backer of the event set to take place on Thursday 20th August 2009 at 9.30pm between Bournemouth and Boscombe piers. Catering at the party was provided by Quiddles Cafe of Portland who cooked up the largest paella I’ve ever seen (it was delicious to boot!)
