Boscanova

So this is what I told Mister Dan.

I am NOT a wedding photographer
But all I’m interested in photographing is weddings (I’m compelled by doing so)
And my daughter growing up
Rites of passage
Stories

I like to think of myself as a visual anthropologist but the term doesn’t get hits on Google from people seeking… wedding photographers

My style is brutalist (shhh!), frank, honest
caring, sensitive (but not indulgent)

I’m fascinated by people
what’s in their heads
not what’s on the surface (I believe the apparent paradox can be seen beyond, easily)

My clients are

Expressive (even the externally quiet ones), thoughtful, creative, caring

They appreciate honesty

And Dan understood. He knew what I needed. Better even than I did.
